Sparkling Sparklers.

Happy Friday lovelies!

I know that I am supposed to provide you with a stunning photo every Friday but today I just couldn't decide on one...so get ready to fall in love twice.

How cool is this? Record an image of your sound waves
while you each say "I Do".

This was obviously one heck of a party judging by the disheveled yet ecstatic newlyweds! Seriously though...who doesn't love sparklers?

How sweet are both of these photos? *Sigh*

What are your plans for this weekend? Can't wait to hear all about them!

Until next time, xo.

Petite Gilded Pumpkins.

Wahoo! Guess what?! This wonderful post that you are currently feasting your eyeballs on is our 100th entry. We couldn't be more excited about achieving this milestone and want to thank all of you for reading Life is Beauty Full so that we can continue to do what we love! :)

In other news...Thanksgiving is THIS week! I can't even begin to believe how quickly 2012 has flown by, it is just incredible. I hope that you are starting to get excited for time with family, stuffing, turkey, and pie. While I adore this holiday, it can often be the inspiration for some pretty heinous weddings. From plastic cornucopias to faux turkeys...the nightmare just doesn't end.

As unbelievable as it sounds, a Thanksgiving themed wedding can be done spectacularly. The trick is to provide subtle hints of the season as opposed to featuring Pilgrim figurines on your table. One of my favorite ways to subtly guide your guests to your theme is through the use of color. An incredible color palette for this time of year is a combination of burnt oranges, glittery golds, creamy ivory, and a rich navy blue.

I love the warm and inviting feel of this table setting featured in Lonny Magazine. The orange, gold, and organic details immerse your guests in the season while the navy adds just a touch of sophistication. It is pure perfection.

Utter Elegance.

How cute are these petite gilded pumpkins?!

These taper candles create a stunning display!

What are your personal favorite color combinations for this time of year? As always, your comments and thoughts are fantastically appreciated...I just love hearing your opinions!

Until next time, I will be up to my elbows in flour baking pies! Have a great day, xo.

Trick or Treat.

Boo...Happy Halloween!

I hope that you have managed to stay safe over the past few days during Hurricane Sandy! With all of the devastation from the storm, I feel like everyone could use a little bit of pick me up!

We have decided to go rouge in this post! As opposed to chatting about nuptials we will be bringing smiles to your faces in the form of little kids and dogs wearing Halloween costumes...so get ready for your heart to be melted and to giggle in your cubicle.

You have been warned...

Is this seriously not the cutest ewok you have ever seen?!

I don't even have words for this one.

An utterly hysterical tribute to Napoleon Dynamite.

A little Nacho Libre nugget.

Such a precious little octopus...

I can't even take the adorableness this little munchkin!

A dog ghost...obviously cute.

Bahahahahaha.

This is easily one of the funniest things that I have ever seen.

Party Time. Excellent.

Why are kids and puppies so stinkin' cute?! Gosh, ok, I have to go find candy to hand out to little zombies and princesses tonight!

Until next time, xo.

Bohemian Beauty

Happy Monday afternoon my dear readers...hopefully you are having a marvelous start to your week and loving the gorgeous weather that we are currently being spoiled with!

I am so excited for today's post that I can barely handle it...so you should get pumped too! Are you ready?! Lets go!

Now, I am often asked how to create a wedding theme that is indicative of the bride/couple's personal style and my answer is always to create a pair of inspiration boards (I am a super visual person). Well, how the heck do you do this?!

It is very simple really...your first board should feature items that reflect your everyday style and the second will be composed of inspiration for your wedding day. The next step is to focus on elements from your Wedding Board while planning for your nuptials. The end result will be a baller wedding that is everything you have ever wanted...hooray!

Over the next few weeks I will be posting pairs of boards for a bunch of different personal styles...is there one in particular that you want to see? Just let me know!

Until next time...enjoy the coolness of bohemian beauty...xo.

Popping the Question...

Happy Monday loves!

How was your weekend?! Hopefully it was amazing and you are ready for the week ahead. As promised on Saturday, I owe you a blog post that you will adore...so get set for something full of love, cheers, and cuteness.

One of the sweetest and most clever trends in weddings has to do with surprising your very best girls. Brides everywhere are finding amazing, untraditional ways to ask the ladies in their lives to be their bridesmaids. After scouring the Internet, these are my very favorite ways of 'popping the question'.

Enjoy and let us know what wonderful ideas you come up with, we can't wait to see your creativity!

Until next time, xo.

Paper Cuts & Hydrangea Stamps

Happy Tuesday dear readers!  I hope that your morning is off too as wonderful a start as mine.  A few hours ago, I had the immense pleasure of chasing my puppy…Coconut…down as she decided to visit with several men attempting to get into their cars to go to work for the day.  Naturally they were in tailored suits and I was rocking a ratty t-shirt and pajama pants that have certainly seen better days.  After slinking back into the house with soaked pants…I swear that there was an exorbitantly unnatural amount of dew outside today…Nut and I had a brief meeting about her socialization skills.  I tried to be mad but then she licked my face and put her really cute face on…which was wildly unfair.  Accepting defeat from my eight-pound puppy just made me realize that today was going to be a good day.  Ugh…crazy dog…now I need Starbucks.  But for your sake, I will power through this.  You are welcome.
Now, I am not sure if you are currently planning a wedding…even if you aren’t keep on reading because this applies to you too.  DIY sucks.  Don’t get me wrong…I love crafting as much as the next person…but multiplying your ‘little project’ by about 250 is even overwhelming for Martha Stewart.  I have stamped beautiful hydrangeas all over favor bags in three dye colors…one just looked dumb and let me tell you…I AM NOT DONE.  Currently my little hands look jaundiced and have tiny paper cuts all over them…so if you are coming to my wedding and happen to see tiny bits of blood on your favor bag…I am sorry about that…I am sort of just kidding.  So now that you know my very candid opinion on personal wedding projects, I want to know your thoughts!  What are you planning to do for your own big day…am I just venting and will look back on my yellowed appendages fondly?  Let me know!  Until next time…xo

This would be Nut...attempting to look innocent after tearing a stick to shreds...in the middle of the living room.
