Some Early Autumn Cheese

Happy mid-week my darlings!  Hopefully you are having a super great morning thus far!  You might be wondering why the heck I posted some cheesing on a Wednesday…well…I have some sad news for you all.  Tomorrow I will be going out of town for business and I have a good friend’s wedding this weekend so I won’t be able to provide you with witty, riveting info until next week.  I hope that you can forgive me…you can?!  Super…I feel so much better now.  Alright, you know that I wouldn’t leave you for a few days without some stellar photographs…I love you all too much to leave you hanging!
I am not sure if you have been into a store lately, but if you have…it is back to school season ladies and gents!  I did go into a card store the other day and they had a Halloween display which I felt was wildly premature…but I digress.  To be quite honest…fall is my favorite season for getting dressed.  I like to think that there is nothing better in this world that pulling together an ensemble of suede boots, jeans, a blouse, cardigan, and great print scarf.  Ugh…I just can’t wait to don my beloved scarves again.  As a tribute to the upcoming seasonal transition…here are some phenomenal looks for your fall wardrobe...these looks would be that much better with a Cocroft & Delbridge bag...obviously.  Can’t you just smell the crisp air now?  Until next time…go dip an apple in some caramel and imagine it is September! XO.

Rain, Rain...Please Don't Go Away

Happy afternoon my wonderful readers! I hope that this post finds you smiling and enjoying the beautiful sun!  In the good old Northeast yesterday, we were struck with some crazy rain…causing both of my puppies to totally tweak out…but that is just a side note.  Now if you are currently planning your wedding, I am sure that rain on the big day is one of your biggest fears.  While the moisture and humidity might not be ideal for your hairstyle…it can do incredible things for your photos.
For your viewing pleasure my darlings, here is some truly stunning rainy day photography.  I hope that you enjoy this visual feast!  Until next time!

Confetti & Filler

Happy Monday readers! I hope that you are enjoying you super humid afternoons…goodness it is just so muggy out.  Despite the Sahara-like weather, today is a huge, huge day my friends!  It is my fiancĂ©’s birthday…wahoo…so be sure to throw some virtual confetti his way!  Happy birthday handsome.
Now I am not sure about you…but I am the type of person that likes to root for the underdog.  In the big, bad world of flowers…baby’s breath, heather, limonium, Queen Anne’s lace are some of the little guys in the fight.  Generally considered simple filler in your floral arrangement meant to enhance the fullness of the bunch…these poor ignored blossoms!  Lately, I have seen some beautiful centerpieces that feature lesser blooms in the floral kingdom…and let me be the first to tell you…they can definitely stand on their own!  Another great often over-looked idea?!  Incorporating cotton…trust me it works so well.  Ok…now for some picture justification for those of you non-believers!
Until next time...think of some awesome flower combos that you are relying on for your big day…be sure to let us know your creative ideas!

A Baller Article & Obviously Some Cheese

Happy Friday darlings!  Ok super huge news from our end…we have been featured in an article in the central Pennsylvania newspaper, The Patriot!  Wahoo…if I do say so myself it is pretty stinkin’ awesome.  I know that you are just itching to read the piece...so don’t worry…I attached the link for you because I like to consider myself a giver.  Hopefully you will read it, love it, and give us a call!  I just can’t even tell you how pumped everyone on the Cocroft & Delbridge team is for this super publicity! Yay.
Now for some cheese…as promised.  Today I will be making you say “Stop it…this is so touching” and melting the heck out of your hearts…with some loving pictures of fathers and daughters.  My dad and I have decided that he isn’t going to know anything about my wedding gown until the big day…so that way he will be just as surprised as my groom!  I certainly hope that his reaction will be as sweet as these papa’s.  Enjoy boys and girls…have an excellent weekend…until next time!

Giving One To The Boys...Some Early Cheesing

Happy Thursday!  Alright, so I have been feeling super guilty about being so late posting some good cheesing for you last week…to make it up to you I have decided to throw up some stunning pictures two days in a row!  Today, I will be featuring some very chic and modern groomsmen…who ever said that boys don’t care about how they look or about fashion was so totally wrong.

I Am The Bride...I Guess I Decide...Edition Three

Hi boys and girls…I certainly hope that you aren’t melting in this scorching heat!  For the sake of my readers, I am attempting to stay cool…I fully blame you all for the venti frappuccinos at Starbucks…so thanks.  Moving on, let’s get down to the business of the day…my swiftly approaching wedding.
Erik and I will be tying the knot in 80 days…just 80 days…or 2 months, 2 weeks, and 4 days!  I seriously can’t even believe it!  Wahoo!  Here is the thing though…we have so much to do!  Let me tell you, when we first got engaged I had no idea that there were so many details involved in planning a wedding.  It is just crazy…you have to decide if you want a formal or informal cake cutting, to personalize your napkins or not to personalize your napkins, to wear a statement necklace or a simple pendant…it never ends!  While I slightly feel like I am drowning in a sea of taffeta and cakes, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.  It is the most wonderful craziness in the world and I highly recommend it!
However, one thing that I have learned this past year while planning my own nuptials is the sheer importance of taking a step back from all of the chaos.  Whether that means going on a nice romantic date with your fiancĂ© or treating yourself to a spa day…you need to take a break.  Now I understand how difficult it can be to hit the pause button on planning your big day…you have to pick the proper color of table linens this very instant…bull snot…it can wait a few hours or even a whole day!  Trust me, you definitely will not regret focusing on something else to put your mind at ease.  So ladies, take a stand and pour yourself a bubble bath!  Until next time…breathe in that aromatherapy.
